When the rental is completed and Riverside Auto Rental releases the deposit, the funds will not be immediately available in your account. The time it takes for the hold to clear depends entirely on your financial institution's processing times (typically 3 to 7 business days). Riverside Auto Rental has no control over how quickly your bank releases these funds.
3% processing fee on all credit and debit card transactions
This fee covers the processing costs imposed by card networks and applies to all payments, extensions, and final settlements made by credit card or debit card. The fee is passed through directly to the customer and will be itemized on your final receipt.
The 3% fee applies equally to credit and debit cards — there is no debit-card exemption. The fee is the actual processor cost passed through to the customer, with no markup.
