The festival draws over 100,000 visitors to a village of about 400 people. Parking is the pain point every single year — which is exactly why one vehicle full of people beats six cars hunting for six spots.
The 15-passenger van: festival weekend is its most-requested weekend of the fall, and by now it's either spoken for or close to it. Call for a live answer — cancellations happen, and being the first name on the list costs nothing.
The 7-passenger minivans: usually the last group vehicles standing at this point, but move-in season and Labor Day are pulling on them too. This week, not next.
Cars and the SUV: for a group of four making a day trip, an intermediate or full-size car is the low-drama option and rarely sells out this far ahead.
If the big van is gone, don't scrap the group plan. Two 7-passenger minivans move 14 people for $78/day + $0.10/mile each — and the split-fleet setup has real upsides: two pickup points for a group scattered between Tomah and Black River Falls, two schedules (early-birds for the cranberry bog tours, late risers for the craft rows), and the same parking lot at the end.
Selling at the festival? Setup, stock runs, and teardown stretch across most of a week — and any rental of 7+ days includes unlimited mileage. The minivan runs $450/week, the 15-passenger van $750/week. For a crafter hauling a booth from La Crosse or Eau Claire and restocking daily, the weekly van usually beats four stacked daily rentals.

A festival day trip fits comfortably inside every mileage tier, so the vehicle choice is really about seats and schedule, not miles. We're also the closest van fleet to the festival grounds; renters coming from Warrens, Tomah, and Sparta pick up here on the way through.
